López Correa, M.: The Winterhaldenschacht (7127/07) near Reichenbach in the District of the Eastern Alb, Swabian Alb

Abstract

The Winterhaldenschacht (7127/07) is a 34 m deep shaft at the eastern part of the Swabian Alb near Aalen - one of the deepest caves in this region. The cave gives a very interesting insight to the Upper (White) Jurassic limestone (ki 2). The deeper parts of the cave are situated in the Kimmeridge marls (ki 1), what is really unusual.
